About us

Our mission is to serve the Somali-American Nebraskans with positive integration into society; to introduce the Somali culture and heritage to our new communities to promote a better understanding of diverse cultures; to provide the community with educational services and support; to organize youth programs and activities that develop leadership skills through team identity and healthy competition; to educate and empower Somali American citizens toward civic engagement and voter participation; to create a welcoming and supporting environment for new immigrants settling in Nebraska; and to organize programs and activities that address the cultural and social needs of Somali-Americans living in Nebraska.
